Unlike most gyms, we don't believe in making our members sign contracts or charging them hidden fees. Your first class is actually even free.
boxing
Over the past few years boxing for fitness has become common place. This
increase in popularity stems from not only providing a great physical
workout it can also improve confidence and it can to lead to a healthier lifestyle all-round. Just as the boxing workout is fully comprehensive so is the lifestyle.
kickboxing/muay thai
Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is a stand-up striking system that has proven to be the most effective standup fighting system amongst UFC and other Mixed Martial Arts competitions. Muay Thai
and kickboxing have some differences. The differences being in Muay Thai
you can throw kicks below the belt, as well as elbows and knees.
grappling
Grappling classes are given at both the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. This sport is
fun and will
also condition your body, increasing your endurance levels as well as
challenge your mind. Classes include a warm-up and focus on proper
grappling technique and putting new skills into practice.
wrestling
At Curt's Ultimate you'll learn to control your oponnent's arms, weight
and balance using the techniques of wrestling. Once one learns to
control his opponent's bodyweight on the ground or in the clinch, it is
easy for the fighter to apply a lock, or punch his opponent in the face.
By grasping the first step of wrestling, controling an aponents arms,
weight and balance, a wrestler can take care of the actual attack.
MMA
The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)class is a complete program covering the broad spectrum of kicking, boxing, clinch, takedowns, grappling/groundfighting and skill/attribute training drills.
Students will learn a mixture of striking, grappling, takedowns and
submissions.
women's only classes
We offer fun, effective, safe workouts in an all-women environment. The training will help you to:
Build stamina, develop balance, hand/eye coordination and confidence.
Work out aggressions, letting off steam, release stress and feel relaxed afterwards.
Lose weight and/or tone your body from head to toe.
You'll not only strengthen and tone your body, but you'll also learn
basic fighting skill because we focus on proper technique and our
classes are taught by competetive atheletes. The training includes
jumping rope, shadow boxing, punching the heavy bag, speed bag,
non-contact partner drills, and stretching.
children's classes
The coolest thing you can possibly do after school. Having a great time
while learning a new skill, build strength and confidence. Kids learn from experienced boxers that know how to teach your child everything
they need to know in order to box!
